Encora FAQ

Encora FAQ

Frequently asked questions, your answer might already be here.
You can't. Not on the website. Encora is a database of what exists, but does not host any recordings here.
Think of Encora like "imdb", but for bootlegs. It tells you what exists, with who. It's up to you to locate the files.

If you want to watch a show, you can use the Who Owns? feature (if you are logged in with an account), or the trade finder to find a user to trade with for it.
Encora cannot and will never host full recordings.
There are currently no plans to bring back on-site trading.
You can see who owns a recording, and can contact those users via the contact details on their profile if they have those set.
Otherwise, you would need to add it to your wants, and try and locate it elsewhere.
The icons you see at the bottom of recording cards help you identify more information about the recording, without adding paragraphs of text.
If you hover your mouse (desktop) or tap on them (mobile), a tooltip should appear with more information, should you forget what they mean.

Passwords are stored using hashing functions in a secured database. Hashed passwords are incredibly secure, and can only be decrypted using the original password.
If you forget your password, use the Password Reset function, as we have no way of seeing what your password was!
